We are committed to ensuring the health and safety of staff and subcontractors. We drive our responsibility in this area from board level. Monthly internal health and safety meetings for both our in-house and site operations are held and are a demonstration of our commitment to maintaining and improving the standards we have set for ourselves.

CSCS Card Status

APiC UK Limited are fully committed to the CSCS card holder scheme, which places an emphasis on site health and safety.

We are well on our way to achieving our target of 100% card holder status by the end of 2009.

Training

We believe that training is the foundation for our success. We are working to ensure that all of our workforce are fully trained and competent at every level. Every employee receives job-specific training and refresher instruction.

All new employees are subjected to an initial health & safety induction together with an assessment of their personal needs in relation to personal develop and training. As a result 90% of our fabricators are currently undergoing NVQ Level 2 training through Train to Gain with the expert help and assistance of Dianne Smith Associates.

We are excellently supported by our key suppliers who offer on-going training for our staff and workforce alike.
